We started in an empty apartment.

After years of moving, I've stood in a lot of empty apartments. One had a view I still think about. But in the bedroom, I couldn't tell if a queen bed would fit without blocking the closet - so I chose a place without the view, just for the certainty my furniture would fit. I've always wondered how many people made the same trade.

Staging solves this. It's why staged homes sell faster and for more. But it's expensive and slow, so most rooms never get it. I built Stilar so the empty room can sell itself - and no one has to stand in one, guessing whether their life fits.
